Check out things to do in some of the top destinations in Central and South America...
Buenos Aires, Argentina
This lively capital city has architecture reminiscent of Europe, and in fact, is often referred to as the "Paris of South America." European-style architecture aside, Buenos Aires has its own distinct culture, with cafe-lined streets, bustling art galleries, and fabulous cuisine! While in Buenos Aires, be sure to visit the Malba, which contains many works of art by Frida Kahlo, and don't forget to catch a tango performance! Buenos Aires is also a good stopping point before heading to Mendoza, the wine country.
Punta del Este, Uruguay
Enjoy this world-famous beach destination with either a scenic driving tour or a bicycle tour. Take either tour and you'll agree: few places can boast the beauty, natural and man-made, that Punta del Este offers. You will see the famous monument known as “The Hand”, in addition to well-kept gardens and stunning views! You might even be lucky enough to see sea lions basking in the sun!
Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Roatan boasts the world's second-largest coral reef system, which makes it a popular place for divers and snorkelers from all over the world. Traffic lights do not exist in Roatan and you can hail down a taxi on the water to take you to any of the famous beach-front restaurants and bars. The white sandy beaches will ensure you will never want to leave this tropical paradise!
