Check out things to do in the top destinations in Alaska...

Anchorage

Anchorage, the largest city in Alaska, certainly has multiple personalities.  Just outside the cruise port you will find rows of touristy shops and restaurants, but head beyond there to experience the 'real' Anchorage, filled with urban-style coffee shops, brewpubs, and local galleries. The city is great for outdoorsy people who enjoy activities such as cycling and hiking.

Glacier Bay

Glacier Bay is one of the most picturesque places you will experience on an Alaskan cruise through the inside passage.  With photo-ops as far as the eye can see, you will pass constantly-changing glaciers, fjords, and plenty of Alaskan wildlife.

Juneau

Juneau is a very unique capital city in that itis the only state capital with no roads leading into or out of the city. In Juneau, you can check out the many museums and learn about the history of mining in the area, which really put this city on the map. There are also a wide variety of shore excursions in Juneau, from whale watching, glacier viewing, or visiting a local salmon hatchery, to taking a ride up the Mount Roberts Tramway to the 1,800 foot-high station for hiking and a bite to eat at a cafe with a view!

Ketchikan

Ketchikan holds the world's largest collection of Northwest totems, be sure to pick up a tiny replica at one of the local souvenir shops!  Although Ketchikan gets more rain than any other city in Alaska, it doesn't stop tourists from enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking or kayaking in the Misty Fjords.

Seward

For most cruisers, Seward acts as the port of embarkation or disembarkation.   Don't let that fool you, however! There are plenty of things to do and see in this coastal town, which is located 125 miles south of anchorage, in Resurrection Bay.   Seward is the gateway to the Kenai Fjords National Park, where you can kayak and see majestic Alaskan wildlife in their natural habitat. It is also the start of the famous Iditarod dogsled race. Go ahead, join in a fun, family-friendly dog sledding adventure and learn about the history of the race!

From Our Clients...

Exceptional support through delayed vacation due to COVID

"Theresa was wonderful. We had been planning this Alaskan cruise since 2019 and then COVID hit and then we were still unsure about 2021 so we waited another year. Theresa took care of everything for us, checking in with us every couple of weeks and making sure that we were getting our checklist taken care of. Thank you, Theresa and TravelPerks Dream Vacations, we had a great time and cannot wait for our next cruise."

Once In A Lifetime Trip

I was talking about TravelPerks during our state presentation, and a member commented that they had booked cruises through TravelPerks and had a fabulous experience! They both said that you guys were super easy to work with and explained everything well and they felt cared for. It's not often we get members interrupting a presentation to put it out there that they had a great experience!

Easy to Work With

"We loved how easy it was to work with Montika. She was super flexible and provided us plenty of options, even when we kept switching dates and the amount of people, etc."

– Katie D. - Disney Cruise, March 2023

Worry Free!

"You folks are incredible and your services outstanding! No one does it better."

– Robert C. - Celebrity Cruise, March 2023

Assistance every step of the way.

"Although I'm in Florida, Michael Teague assisted us every step of the way. From the beginning of the planning, through the coordinating with family members, getting excursions to fit different family members and even last minute changes to get the best out of this vacation, Michael has been key to us enjoying an amazing family (12) vacation. I will definitely seek him out again!"

Spectacular Shore Excursions

"Everything worked out even better than planned. On all three shore excursions we met people in the bus who said they appreciated those excursions and they were far better than the ones offered by the ship. We, too, were impressed with the quality of the excursions and tour guides. The cruise was spectacular and all the arrangements made in advance were spectacular."
